Women's Lands
Authored by Françoise Flamant
The book is a deep analysis of the Women's Lands, lesbian communes in the 70s in Oregon. The communities seek to free themselves from male domination. The women whose actions are retraced here took the plunge, took a tangent, and built something else together: a whole world, a whole life of their own. They attempted the adventure in the Western United States, in remote lands where a handful of them still reside.
